Same set of questions were asked to the members of each group in order to determine if there exists any variation and the extent of the variation. The younger respondent gave less detail and normally answered the questions just with reference to the question asked. The older schoolchild included some more details in the answer, provided usually giving a respective(a) background and including some more details which helped the interviewer get a better understanding of the respondent.
